The Goals Soccer Centre in Bradford is one of 22 Goals centres that will be hosting the inaugural Asian Football Fives tournament.
The tournament is open to Asian players and teams and is designed to encourage, support and help develop talent at grassroots level within Asian communities throughout the country.
The Bradford qualifying heat takes place on Sunday, June 23 at the Goals Soccer Centre off Kings Road.
The winning team will progress to the national AFA Fives final, which takes place at Goals Gillette Corner in West London on Saturday, August 18.
Scouts and coaches from across the professional game will be in attendance at both the regional heats and on finals day.
The overall winner of the AFA tournament will be rewarded with a training day at Liverpool Football Club’s state-of-the-art training facility in Melwood and will enjoy a table at the prestigious Asian Football Awards, which are being held on Tuesday, October 8 at Wembley Stadium.
Register for the tournament by contacting Goals Bradford on 01274-610061. Entry costs £30 per team of eight, which can only include three players of a non-Asian background.
