Thackley put a nine-match winless streak in the Baris Northern Counties East Premier Division to bed last night with a handsome 4-1 win at second from bottom Hall Road Rangers.
Their hosts may be struggling but the Dennyboys were taking nothing for granted as Rangers had won 2-0 at Dennyfield during that run.
Thackley took the lead through Jordan Missin but Rangers' Josh Neilson netted a penalty just after the half-hour following a handball.
Missin added a second early in the second half before goals from Nicky Matthews and Matt Bilney, on his debut, wrapped up the scoring.
