Fairbank United thumped BD3 United 5-0 to take their place in the Sonder Heating and Ventilation Cup final.
The last-four clash of the Spen Valley League competition was a repeat of last year’s semi-final, which BD3 won 4-3 after extra time.
Fairbank were gunning for revenge and struck first in a tightly-contested opening half.
Mohammed Shoaib smashed a shot into the top corner after 20 minutes and should have added a second goal five minutes later but was denied by the BD3 keeper.
A whipped cross from Faisal Shabir resulted in an own goal after the interval as Fairbank took control.
Naveed Hussain was then upended in the area and Shabir stroked home the resulting penalty.
Shabir made it 4-0 with his second and Razziq Ali rounded things off with a delightful chip over the oncoming keeper.
Fairbank’s opponents in the May 1 final will be either Abundant Life Church or Soothill, who go head to head on Thursday.
