Farsley suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at Skelmersdale as the home side followed last weekend’s win at Throstle Nest with another victory over Neil Parsley’s men to capture the Evo-Stik Division One North title.
Farsley held out for 44 minutes in front of the division’s biggest crowd of the day but goals either side of the interval kick-started the party atmosphere at the west Lancashire club. Mark Jackson netted just before the break and Matthew Hughes added two minutes into the second half.
When Josh Hine scored in the 53rd minute there was no way back for Farsley and Hughes added his second of the day on the hour mark.
