Albion Sports earned a vital point as it confirmed their promotion to the Northern Counties East Premier Division for next term after other challengers fell by the wayside.
Their 1-1 draw at home to Athersley Recreation also took them a step closer to landing the Division One title as it was a first versus second clash which left Albion a point clear at the summit with a game in hand.
A Joe Thornton strike put Athersley ahead in the 65th minute but Danny Brown headed Albion level from a 78th-minute corner.
Albion manager Kulwinder Sandhu said: “The draw means we are both promoted because Cleethorpes (in third place) were held to a home draw by Knares-borough.
“It’s a great feeling and we are looking forward to tonight’s game at Askern Villa. We still have work to do to win the title.”
