Brighouse Town’s chances of promotion from the Baris Northern Counties East Premier Division appear to be over following Saturday’s home defeat to Scarborough Athletic.
Town remained second but the gap widened to nine points, however they have two games in hand and will look to keep the pressure on with a win at Maltby Main tonight.
In the lower tier, Eccleshill face a second midweek home game in a congested run-in. After suffering a 1-0 defeat to Louth Town on Monday they host AFC Emley.
Silsden are also in action as they host Winsford United in a reverse North West Counties Premier Division fixture after the clubs played out a 2-2 draw at the Cheshire club’s home at the weekend.
