Garry Thompson insists there will be no City hangover from Chesterfield’s late equaliser.
The stoppage-time strike on Saturday denied the Bantams a fourth straight win – but the winger maintains that their growing confidence has not been knocked.
“We were all disappointed with the result but anyone who was at the game knew we deserved to win it,” said Thompson ahead of tonight’s Rotherham clash.
“We’ve got winners in the dressing room and we won’t let that affect us.
“It wasn’t down to how we played. Our work rate and desire was there and being roared on by 3,000 gave us that extra spur.
“We could have had four penalties on the day but we’ve put that to bed. Now we’re ready for another big game tonight.
“There’s no reason why we can’t win these next three games. They are all cup finals.”
City are the form team over the last six fixtures and Thompson believes they can keep the run going at a buzzing Valley Parade.
He said: “These are the games you want to play in. We know if we can win it firmly cements us in the play-off places where we want to be.
“Every team has a wobble and it’s about how you react to that. We’ve shown good character and great perseverance.
“People want to play at our ground because it’s so big. When it’s full and it’s bouncing, it’s an amazing place to play football.
“We need to make sure we raise our game as well and we’ve done that.”
Rotherham top scorer Daniel Nardiello is rated 50/50 after suffering a heavy knock on Saturday.
