Silsden 1 Stockport 1
Struggling Silsden gained a point but were denied victory by a disputed penalty a minute from time.
The Cobbydalers are still nervously glancing over their shoulders at the relegation zone but they turned in a good performance at home to Stockport Sports and felt robbed by the late equaliser for the visitors.
Silsden thought they should have had a penalty of their own when Mike Garrod appeared to be kicked in the area midway through the first half. Their claims were dismissed and forgotten minutes later when Kevin Ryan put them in front with an angled drive.
Danny Husband was adamant that he made contact with the ball in the 89th penalty incident but the assistant referee put his flag across his chest. The referee consulted with him before awarding the spot kick and Drew Frempong drilled it in for a contentious yet dramatic leveller.
