Baltic claimed their first ever Goals Bradford League Trophy title after the Wednesday Premiership outfit overcame current Monday Premiership leaders Mighty Morphin Flower Rangers 5-4 on penalties, having been level-pegging at 4-4 after normal time.
Captain Leszek Gasowski said: “We’ve been playing every week at the centre for a number of years but this is our biggest honour. The final was one of the toughest games we have ever played and could have gone either way.”
Baltic’s victory is their second major success of the year after they also triumphed in the local heat of this year’s FA Fives, giving them a chance of representing the region at Wembley.
