Unbeaten Bradford City are desperately hoping to end a dismal run of blank weeks, courtesy of the weather, and get back on the Northern Combination title trail at home to rivals South Durham.
It is a game both sides need to win if they are to maintain their challenge to leaders Chorley but, with four games in hand and a clash at home to Leeds City Vixens on Wednesday night, City are still on course to overhaul a seven point deficit.
The City A team go to Kirklees with both those sides harbouring hopes of a top four finish in the North East Regional League (South) but unbeaten Rothwell, with a two point and four game advantage on their closest rivals, look championship certainties.
At the other end of the table Kirklees are currently level with Ossett Albion at the bottom. Albion missed a chance to pull clear when they unluckily went down 2-1 at Millers but they have a chance to reverse that when the two sides meet again at Dimple Wells.
In the Premier Division Guiseley picked up a good point from a 2-2 draw at home to leaders Peterlee, Caroline Hulme and Julie Richardson scoring, as former Bradford City midfielder Caroline Cropp collected the man of the match award.
Ground conditions across the District have wreaked havoc with the fixtures in the West Riding County League but Bradford Park Avenue's undeer 18's escaped the problem with a trip to Germany where they gave a good account of themselves before going down 3-1 to CSV Marathon in Krefeld. Lisa Pieniazek was the Avenue scorer.
