Seb Carole has been an instant hit with Guiseley, bringing his Gallic flair to Nethermoor.
The former Monaco, Leeds United and West Ham man is still only 30 and has shown he has the desire to play in the Conference North.
The Frenchman could not have had a better debut for his latest club.
Named among the substitutes for the trip to Gainsborough Trinity, he came on to change the game.
Guiseley were 1-0 down when he was introduced but he set up the equaliser and scored the winner.
He came on to replace Paddy Mullen, a player at the opposite end of the scale.
The youngster is on loan at Nethermoor from League One outfit Doncaster Rovers.
Lions boss Steve Kittrick said: “Seb is a quality footballer and he will inject that bit of something into a game.
“I’m delighted but not surprised that he has done so well.
“It’s a bit different for young Paddy but it’s always going to be for these lads that come straight out of a full-time club.
“We will see how they go. They are both here until the end of the season and that will include the play-offs. Both will be available should we need them.
“There is a lot of football still to be played and we have two good players, so it’s a win-win for us.”
Kitrick says there is a possibility that they could be part of the club’s plans for even longer.
“The situation is that we are having a look at them and they are at us.
“The thing is with these footballers is that no one knows what’s around the corner.
“They are never far from the end of a deal, so they just play and try to do their best to see what the options are for them.”
