The local clubs in the Baris Northern Counties East League are wondering if their fixtures will escape the big freeze.
With Brighouse Town sidetracked by an FA Vase fourth-round tie, it gives fourth-placed Barton Town Old Boys the opportunity to close the nine-point gap on them.
But their visitors in the Premier Division this weekend are Thackley, who are seventh.
The Dennyboys will not primarily be thinking of doing their neighbours Brighouse a favour. They will be looking for the win that would take them above their hosts - on goal difference at least.
Vince Brockie’s men are just three points behind Barton but have played one less game and already have a better goal difference.
Liversedge are due a home game which, like all other matches this weekend, will be at the mercy of the weather and they hope to use it to arrest their recent dip in results.
Sedge have slipped down to 14th and are due to host Hall Road Rangers, who are below them.
In Division One, Albion Sports and Eccleshill United could face a second postponement on the trot after both were left frustrated on Wednesday.
Second-placed Albion are due to head to Cleethorpes Town, who are fourth.
Albion boss Kulwinder Sandhu has a full squad at the moment after Karl Hall returned from injury, and he has added to that by signing two players, one of which is Tate Williams from Sedge, and he is on the verge of landing another.
Eccleshill United have lost one, won one and drawn one since Bobby Davison was appointed as head coach to develop director of football Mark Ellis’s squad, laden with youngsters from the RIASA programme.
The Eagles should be at home against Teversal on Saturday, which will be a tough game as the Bradford club trail their visitors by 11 points.
