Both Albion Sports and Eccleshill United are due home fixtures in Baris Northern Counties East Division One tomorrow night but their games are under threat from the sub-zero temperatures.
All seven of the NCE League’s scheduled games tonight were postponed due to frozen pitches and clubs higher up the pyramid were also thwarted.
Second-placed Albion would close the gap on leaders Athersley with a win if they get the chance to play Pontefract Collieries. Albion have three games in hand on Athersley – who were one of the clubs left frustrated by yesterday’s freeze – and trail them by just five points.
Eccleshill United’s visitors should be Worsborough Bridge Athletic. The Eagles will be hoping to build on their last two results as Bobby Davison’s reign heads into a fourth game.
