Albion Sports leapt above visitors Shirebrook Town as a 3-0 victory took them back into second place in Baris Northern Counties East Division One.
Karl Hall returned to the starting line up after coming back from injury as a midweek substitute and he showed Albion what they have been missing.
Hall fired a shot into the bottom corner midway through the first half to open the scoring.
Home keeper Aaron Bryan was forced into a good save to ensure Albion reached the interval with their lead intact.
Shirebrook looked to level but Albion were simply too good on the day and Hall headed his second following a corner, and minutes later Alex Cusack netted the third.
The win keeps Kulwinder Sandhu’s men ahead of Knaresborough Town on goal difference, who have played four games more than Albion.
They also have games in hand on leaders Athersley Recreation – having played three fewer than the leaders, who they trail by just five points.
