Steeton have a great chance to open a seven-point gap at the Premier Division summit as they host bottom side Overthorpe in the West Riding County Amateur League on Saturday.
The Keighley outfit currently head closest rivals Bay Athletic by four points but both Bay and third-placed Ovenden West Riding are in West Riding County FA Challenge Cup action this weekend.
Steeton will have played four games more than Bay and three more than Ovenden after tomorrow’s Summer Hill Lane clash.
But points in the bag could go a long way towards deciding the title for the current pace-setters, who have lost just one of their 12 matches to date.
Salts and Campion meet for the fourth time this season, with Salts having the edge by two games to one in their previous encounters.
Campion gave their local rivals a striking lesson back in August with a 7-0 league victory on home soil.
But Salts have since gained revenge at the double in knockout competitions, winning 1-0 in the Premier Division Cup and 3-0 in the Bradford FA Cup.
Tyersal, who are building up to three consecutive weeks of cup ties, warm up by looking for three points at home to Storthes Hall.
Wibsey climbed off the foot of the Division One table with a 6-2 home victory over Halifax Irish last time out and that should give them confidence ahead of this week’s visit of leaders Huddersfield YMCA.
