Albion hosted struggling Selby Town and a 3-0 win saw them climb back up to third.
Charlie Flaherty netted a penalty midway through the first half following a foul on Danny Facey, who doubled Albion’s advantage before substitute Karl Hall rounded off the scoring five minutes from time.
Eccleshill went one better as they won 4-0 at home to Dinnington Town.
Head coach Bobby Davison said: “It was a very positive result but we know there is work to still to do with these young lads.”
