Bradford Park Avenue play their fourth game in eight days at Horsfall Stadium when they host Solihull Borough in the second-qualifying round of the FA Trophy tomorrow - and it will be special for Neil Redfearn.
The former Premiership midfielder was rested from Monday's West Riding County Cup win and Wednesday night's friendly against Huddersfield Town so he could reach the 1,000-game milestone in a contest that means more.
"We all wanted Neil to be fit for this game so he had a bit of a rest in the week and he will be in the starting line-up. It is a big day for him and for the club," said Bradford boss Phil Sharpe.
"The FA Trophy is a big competition for clubs in our division. Bradford Park Avenue would benefit from a long run. We missed out on the big pay-days of the FA Cup this season.
"The prize money per round in the Trophy is nowhere near as much but it is a more attainable goal. No one from the non-league is going to win the FA Cup but the Trophy is just for non-league clubs, Conference down to UniBond Division One and equivalent in other parts of the country.
"We know a little bit about Solihull. We have had them watched and spoken to contacts in the game. They beat Conference North outfit Alfreton Town away in the FA Cup so they can't be a bad side.
"The onus is on us as the home side to score goals. We need a result tomorrow because a journey to Birmingham on a Tuesday night is no fun at all. We don't want the hassle of a replay.
"Getting back into the UniBond Premier is our main objective of the season and we don't want that to be derailed.
"If you said we would do the double of winning the Trophy and promotion, I would be delighted.
"But if I had to choose between the two, I know which one it would be.
"We will have Simon Parke back. He missed the Huddersfield game because of work commitments. Redders will obviously be back and we hope Jamie Longley will have recovered from a touch of 'flu.
"But Tom Greaves is doubtful after picking up a knock in Monday's game and Richard Chattoe is injured. We won't rule anybody in or out until the last minute.
"It is crucial we have as much experience as possible on tap in the 16-man squad. That could be the difference."
