SIR – If the miscreants we read about in the Telegraph & Argus Court File who are sentenced to do unpaid work were given the job of clearing Haworth Parish Church’s graveyard of the waist-high grass it would save Bradford Council a fair amount of money.
This could be used to pay someone to unblock the street grates that Martin R Gardener says may have had something to do with the recent floods in the district. (T&A, August 23).
