SIR – We live in a cottage on the narrow part of Lane Side, Wilsden , opposite Honey Pot Farm and the cottage has a frontage into the main road.
We are used to hearing large vehicles, etc, passing our cottage at all times of the day and night and have become quite accustomed to the noise.
However, on the morning of Thursday, August 16, at around 1am, we were awakened to a loud bang and after investigating it we decided it was just the clattering noise from a large vehicle.
Later that day, we investigated further and realised the cottage had been hit by a vehicle of some kind. We would like the owner of this vehicle to contact us so we can discuss the damage done. We realise too that there will be damage to their vehicle and hopefully there were no injuries.
Mrs J O’Hara, Lane Side, Wilsden
