SIR - I read the article regarding the Colour Museum (T&A, September 30) with interest and noted what appears to me to be a retrograde step by the museum.
I have long thought the Colour Museum is geographically wrongly situated in what is, effectively, a tourist backwater of the city. Clearly footfall in that part of town is limited and not, therefore, conducive to casual visitors.
Similarly, parking is not easy (and probably not very secure). I have, for a long time, thought that (despite its background) the Colour Museum should seek a better site for its operations, and what better place than somewhere in the National Museum of Photography Film and Television?
I think that then visitor numbers would soar.
