SIR - Re your front page story (T&A, October 2) about the 13-year-old girl who went to the wrong school (after first arranging for the loan of a school blazer for that school, presumably to fool the teachers, which she did).
It was said that the girl's mother was concerned as to how this was allowed to happen and was demanding an explanation from the school staff.
Surely the mother should be demanding an explanation from her daughter as to why she did such a foolish and irresponsible act.
The school term has only just started, with many new faces among the pupils for the teachers and staff to get to know and be able to recognise.
The girl is 13 years old, she knew exactly what she was doing. She was never in any danger - why make such a big deal of it?
