Cafe sum very high SIR – I was sorry to read about The Oasis Cafe in Ilkley having to move out of their current place where they open for two days a week.
The cafe is staffed by people with learning difficulties and the project is looking for somewhere bigger and hopes to be able to open for more time and keep the good work going.
I wish them all the luck in the world, but the thing I just cannot understand is where on earth they get a price of £100,000 to relocate?
At the moment, I am involved with a private project of considerable size, much bigger than a cafe, and the amount we have is nothing near £100,000.
