SIR - How ironic that Peter Thompson compares the Odeon so unfavourably with the neighbouring Alhambra, right.
Has he forgotten so soon that the Alhambra was once in the same plight as the Odeon now finds itself?
There was a suggestion at the time that the Alhambra should be demolished, but it was saved by some rather enterprising architecture.
Are our current crop of architects saying that they cannot do the same for the Odeon?
Incidentally, I read that the Bradford College hierarchy is already celebrating its move into the city centre. Isn't there a small matter of a planning committee to go through first or do they know something we don't?
