SIR – Just last week the Government announced that it’s handing over one of our NHS hospitals – Hichingbrook, in Cambridgeshire – to be run by a private company.
Cameron and co claim to be on the side of patients, but how can they be when their vision for our health service puts private profit before patient care?
We need to send a strong message to the Coalition. We can make a difference when we work together. The House of Lords forced the Government to think again about amendents to their Health Bill. Our fight is far from over. But we have to keep the pressure up if we are to avoid Cameron and the Tories privatising our health service.
It might be a little early to be talking about Christmas but we must join the campaign on December 10 and 11 when people will be hitting high streets up and down the country to send Cameron and co a message – all we want for Christmas is our NHS!
