SIR – I am writing in response to your front page article (T&A, November 11) regarding an incident at Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton.
As a relative of a resident at the home, I visit the place four or five times a week.
The staff at the home are dedicated, caring and very respectful. I am quite certain that there will be a very reasonable explanation regarding the Facebook photographs incident and that there was no intention to humiliate.
I would like to reassure anyone considering a placement for a relative at Currergate, that, in my experience, the care is of the highest standard.
As I have said at residents’ meetings, I would be happy to book a room there for myself in the future.
