SIR – May I thank the person who kindly handed in my purse – all intact – on November 8 at Sainsbury’s store in Greengates.
I only noticed it when I went in my handbag for a postage stamp.
I go away on holiday soon and it held cash, bank cards, bus pass, photos and other sentimental bits and these couldn’t be replaced.
So may I thank the person who handed it in. It was so honest of them. I couldn’t leave a reward, as it is against Sainsbury’s policy to do so.
Now I can go on holiday in peace.
