SIR – Westfields ‘commitment to Bradford’ has well and truly been laid bare this weekend.
According to an article in on of the financial supplements on Sunday, Westfield are to collaborate with a Dutch company to split the cost (and risk) of the Broadway development, and that they were losing their appetite for the development because of the perceived risk involved.
Anyone surprised at Westfield’s attitude?
I would be interested to hear what Councillor Dave Green has to say in the light of this revelation, especially as Westfield have announced they have entered into talks to build a shopping centre in Croydon.
Westfield committed to Bradford? I don’t think so.
