SIR – I must say to Mr J Walker MBE (Letters, November 12) that people are and will continue to put something back into Bradford like the ‘Mirror Pool’ and the great facility at Culture Fusion.
But there is a big problem. Bradford is trying to move forward, but can’t because of a small minority of people who keep expressing the view that they wish the Odeon can be restored, when in fact it’s an eyesore, in disrepair and its time it was demolished.
The creation of ‘Bradford People’s Centre’ will be a big advantage to the city, not just older people, but for everyone, young and old.
Bradford was, is and can still be a great city, if only we start looking to the future and not living in the past!
