SIR – May I thank D A Muncaster for allowing me to apologise to the 81 honest Tory MPs for following their consciences during the referendum vote.

I can only say in my defence that the letter (T&A, October 27) was sent before the vote when I did not expect such courage from some of our MPs.

I used to live in Shipley, and now wish I still did so that I could vote for a man such as Philip Davies.

As a closing point, do all Labour voters want to stay in Europe?
