SIR – I only ever saw Sir Jimmy Savile once at The Queen’s Hall in Leeds at an all nighter with The Who in the mid 1960s when I was a student at the art school.
Without wishing to state the obvious, it must be apparent to all that what sustained Sir Jimmy as such a force for good no doubt was his faith. His was a shining light which so many have wished to acknowledge.
