Barnsley District Judge John Foster insists that he has a sense of humour, but terms of endearment must not be used in court.
Quite right, too, but everyone laughs when Barnsley folk speak. They are naturally funny.
I also find it funny when MPs in the Big House call each other “right honourable”. Perhaps he could put a stop to this as well.
