SIR - Re Heritage in danger (T&A, September 11). Kathleen Cliff needs to get out more. She fears Bradford's history is being wiped off the map. They would have to pull half of Bradford down to do that, as there are more than 3,000 listed buildings in Bradford. What's wrong with modernisation? You cannot live in the past all the time.
As for the Odeon, while it has many happy memories for a lot of people, myself included, the sooner it's pulled down the better. It's an eyesore. The people who did the weeding should be brought back to do it again because within months it was just as bad.
