SIR – Congratulations to the Alhambra Theatre and the entire cast of Keeler for a marvellous production. It is a thoroughly entertaining play. Former Emmerdale actress Alice Coulthard gives a superb performance – she is enthralling as Christine Keeler.

Paul Nicholas is excellent as Dr Stephen Ward. While I accept that Dr Ward lived beneath the canopy of a cantilever quiff, what was that perched on Mr Nicholas’s head? A woeful theatrical wig – or is he getting into practice for the Oxenhope Straw Race?
