SIR – From the top of Baildon Moor, particularly on a fine day, you have a wonderful 360 degree view taking in two cities and beyond to sights such as Ferrybridge and Drax power stations and Emley Moor mast, Bradford being the much nearer city, of course.
Bradford city centre may not attract as many shoppers as it once did. I only visit it myself to buy a top brand of shoe, everything else I can find more locally.
Bradford has lost more or less two massive export industries in textiles and engineering which has rendered the city a much poorer place than it was, but it does not stop us being linked in so many ways – one such way is that we are all reading the Bradford newspaper, are we not, whether it’s the County or the City edition.
