SIR - Nowadays Muslim extremists talk about Jihad (Holy war). The killing of innocent people is not Jihad.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organisation is also talking about Jihad but in real context. We are doing Jihad by saving lives by giving blood to others.
Jihad means to purify. Jihad is to strive for good cause. I think there is nothing better than to save a life.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organisation is trying to set an excellent example to other community members. On September 3 we arranged a blood donation session, with the help of the National Blood Service, in our mosque.
It was third time we have done this and 44 people registered, 34 donated blood and 13 were registered for bone marrow donation in this session.
We are using our mosque for the benefit of the people. We are serving people without any discrimination on the basis of race or religion.
It is not time to discuss the weaknesses of others, it is time to share good things with others. I would like to invite others to please, take part in this noble cause and do something amazing.
