SIR – Thousands of people have taken part in a poll to decide what we do now to save the NHS.

We must step up the targeted pressure on each and every MP.

The Government has announced a “pause” in their plans. But without more pressure there is a risk that this will just be an exercise in spin.

They claim they are taking a pause and listening, but a letter leaked to the Evening Standard shows that health officials have been told to push ahead.
