SIR – It was not just another Friday, it was the special Friday, April 29, the day of the Royal Wedding. It was said that worldwide billions would be watching television and it was estimated that a million people were in London for this, the event of the year.
The Bishop of London, reminded us in his address, that all weddings are special, although I think you will agree not all weddings are quite like this one, but nevertheless all weddings are indeed special.
There is no doubt that Prince William and Catherine Middleton could not fail to be aware of the abundance of goodwill which flooded towards them.
Catherine, as the new Duchess of Cambridge, brings a breath of fresh air to the Monarchy and to millions Catherine and Prince William look an ideal couple.
Catherine’s composure, he radiant smile together with her loving glances, will be long remembered. We witnessed a triumph of skilful production from the BBC.
