SIR – With reference to your headline, “Neighbours split over diners’ hours (April 16). Yes, we are split. Those who live near enough to be affected don’t want it; those who want it live so far away they won’t be disturbed.
If it is going to be a family restaurant the only families likely to be out after midnight are families of bats or badgers.
If we really want something at the gateway to the city to give a flavour of Bradford, shouldn’t we have a large hole with a charity shop on one side and a pound shop on the other side?
