SIR – The joke that’s cost £300,000 to become an Urban Garden will cost another £30,000 to sort the drainage out. We now have two water features to admire.
With the economy in crisis and the Council cutting back expenses surely this problem should have been foreseen. Of course not, they will just pour some more money down the hole. We also don’t want artworks to admire or enhance the site. We want a shopping mall.
The Doomsday garden is an embarrassment.
