SIR – As I pen this epistle I am suffering somewhat from a chest and throat infection.

To make matters worse, swine flu has made an unwelcome reappearance this winter.

I believe that to safeguard the health of the nation, the authorities should put the House of Commons under quarantine. Surely this institution must hold the greatest concentration in the land of swine.
