SIR – I would like to say a huge thank-you to the 248 runners from across the UK, who took part in this year’s Virgin London Marathon and raised an amazing £515,000 for The Children’s Trust.
This is a fantastic result and a wonderful conclusion to the Trust’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The Children’s Trust is a national charity providing care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury.
The Children’s Trust has available places in many famous running events, and we would love to hear from runners who would like to take part – visit thechildrenstrust.org.uk for full details and register now.
For those of you considering applying for a place in October’s ballot for the 2011 Virgin London Marathon, please consider running for The Children’s Trust next year.
For those who do not like to run, we have plenty of other challenges including walks, treks and cycle rides in the UK and overseas. Find out more at thechildrenstrust.org.uk/events.
