SIR – It does not matter how you try to dress it up, or how many times you try to convince the public that hunting foxes with dogs is okay, it is never going to work, as the argument is always flawed in one way or another.
Let us take the latest attempt from Pamela McCallum (Letters, July 20) who cites various reasons to try to support the insupportable, and I quote her starting point: “The best way to keep down vermin is by natural means.”
Just when was hunting with dogs a natural means?
