SIR – There seems to have been a rapid expansion in “Big Boys’ Clubs” over the last ten years or so, who operate like wolfpacks, their motto: “Safety in numbers”.

They make sure they are all obscenely over-paid to the detriment of the general public, who are their paymasters.

The guilty parties include:
* Quango executives
* Local council executives
* Investment bankers
* Hospital executives who know little about health
* Footballers, their agents and the ruling bodies, and England “managers” who can barely speak English
* Football commentators like Jim Beglin and Mark Bright, who jabber on to warrant their considerable wages
* Panels of judges on TV talent shows
* So called “entertainers” like Russell Brand People are now realising the unfairness of all this and I sincerely hope the coalition do something about it.
