SIR – In response to your article re Jet2.com and the volcanic dust cloud (T&A, July 3).
My family and myself were stranded in Benidorm and have nothing but praise for the company and staff who were more than helpful during the four days we were stranded.
On returning home by coach, we contacted Jet2.com and received a very nice letter back stating that claims would be dealt with as soon as possible.
Three weeks later, we received another very nice letter thanking us for our patience and enclosed a cheque for our expenses.
There are always two sides to a story.
