SIR Having read the news in the Telegraph & Argus I am appalled with the police over their warning children off playing football in a quiet cul-de-sac in Great Horton and threatening the parents with arrest.
The people who complained have got too much time on their hands and want to get a life. What did they do when they were children?
There are too many do-gooders around in this world today saying what you can and can't do.
Obviously the parents are concerned about their children and don't want them in areas where it's not fit to go.
The police want to get these areas around Bradford cleaned up instead of threatening kids who are just out to enjoy life by playing football.
