SIR Now Labour has been given a bloody nose in the local elections, is there a chance they might at last start taking notice of the will of the people?
For years Tony Blair and his Ministers have shown a massive disregard for the very real concerns of the British public.
In immigration and crime they have shown mismanagement on a monumental scale, which has finally been exposed in the shocking revelation that 1,000 highly-dangerous foreign criminals had been released on to our streets.
More worrying is that Government departments have allowed dangerous criminals to roam free without knowing where they are or how many crimes they have committed since their release.
But the most serious aspect of this horrific shambles is that a career criminal, who should have been deported years ago, was probably one of those responsible for the death of Sharon Beshenivsky.
Just how awful is that? And how dreadful for Sharon's family, knowing they have been betrayed by the very agencies who should be protecting them.
If this Government was a corporate concern, its directors would now be facing criminal charges for negligence and corporate manslaughter.
