SIR - Whose idea was it to change the boundaries? The polling station I have used for more than 50 years is still there, but I have to go half a mile away to cast my vote now.
Our road has been cut in half. Even numbers can still go to St Andrew's but we odd numbers are not allowed, though we are nearer.
A neighbour very kindly took me to vote in his car, but I was so angry that after complaining to the officers in charge (who were not to blame) I tore up my card and threw it in the bin thereby losing my chance to vote that was fought for by those valiant ladies, the suffragettes.
Only one vote, but they all add up. I am not alone as others I spoke to were objecting against being made to go further to vote.
It will be a postal vote for me next year!
Mrs G Bailey, Northcote Road, Bradford.
