SIR Reflecting on last Thursday's district council election results for Bradford, I would issue a wake-up call to the political heavyweights of Bradford Council.
When setting your strategic objectives for the citizens of the district, please bear in mind that in the 16 wards where the BNP fielded a candidate, of the 71,183 votes cast the BNP took 18, 212 votes which represents 25.58 per cent.
Effectively, one in four people voted for the BNP!
