SIR - I believe Tony Blair was wearing a red wrist band in the Commons on May 3 for one reason only to let everyone know, especially Charles Clarke, how easy it could have been just to colour code the files of foreign criminals.
Mr Clarke then had to defend the indefensible that still leaves the citizens at risk and undefended from the invisible enemy.
I am, however, very pleased the Prime Minister, by his choice of words, has put a stop to any thoughts that David Blunkett could believe in third time lucky.
