SIR – The T&A (March 19) shows another site ‘left in ruins’; Grove Mills in Ingrow. Councillor Chris Greaves describes it as a “tragedy” and Skipton Properties refuse to comment.
The tragedy is, however, in my opinion the total responsibility of Councillor Chris Greaves as chairman of the Keighley Area Planning Panel. He says: “Maybe the planning panel were naive but we put our trust in the developer.” What an appalling admission of total incompetence.
Councillor Greaves is well becoming a ‘notable’ councillor, as he was one of the infamous seven voting on the Odeon in September.
